Suddenly on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket after a short but courageous battle with Cancer. Raymond Beesley of Burk’s Falls was in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (nee McCallister). Dear father of the late Garry Beesley and David Beesley (Linda). Grandfather of Michael (Shannon) and Michelle. Ray is survived by sister Francis and her husband Jack Little and predeceased by brother Howard and his wife Effie.

The Beesley family received visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Sunday, February 24, 2008 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Raymond Beesley was held in the chapel commencing at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2008, with Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating.

Spring interment in Burk’s Fall Cemetery.
