Peacefully at her residence in Sprucedale on Monday, January 21, 2008. Barbara Murphy was in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of John Murphy for 50 years. Dear mother of Elaine Cryderman (Jim), Grant Murphy (Yen) and Heather Nelson (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, J.J., Andrew, Huy and Krista. Predeceased by son Paul and parents James and Argyle Meikle.

Mrs. Murphy rested at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel in Burk’s Falls on Wednesday, January 23, 2008.

Funeral service was held in Faith Chapel in Sprucedale on Thursday, January 24, 2008 with visitation in the church 2 hours prior to service. Pastor Don Nicholson officiating.

Spring interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Sprucedale.
