Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 2, 2008 in her 81st year. Bertha Hill, beloved wife of the late Bert Hill. Loving mother of Dona Brown (Andy) of North Bay, Marlene Shaw (Allan), Marilyn Brimacombe (Allan), both of Sundridge and Bert Hill (Sylvia) of South River. Cherished grandmother of Pamela, Shawn, Steven, Craig, Michael, Heather, Samuel, Morgan and great-grandmother of Keaton, Desiree, Cody, Beau, Ryan, Clara and Hadley. Dear sister of Pearl Lang (Wes) of Sundridge and Olive Merrick (Roy) of British Columbia. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Elva (Blakelock) Bishop and sister Hazel. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and her many friends in the area.

Family received relatives and friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, Sundridge on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Funeral service followed with Mr. Ian McNeil officiating.

Spring interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge.
