Passed away after a short illness at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2008. Elvin (Veteran of WWII, retired from Hart and Colley and Fort Erie Racetrack) of Crystal Beach, was in his 85th year. Predeceased by his wife Lois Thomas (2007) of 64 years. Sadly missed by son Elvin Jr. (Cheryl) of Fort Erie, daughter Carol Ripley (Wayne Dumelie) of Ridgeway. Beloved grandfather of John Ripley (Jeannie) of Crystal Beach, Lisa Elliott (Kevin Barkley of Fort Erie and great-grandson Jacob Riley. Beloved brother of Mildred Elliott of North Bay, Arlene Sheriff (late Bob) of Elmvale. Uncle of Kirk Elliott (Sue) of North Bay. Predeceased by parents Calvin H. and Bertha Elliott (Trout Creek), sister Audrey Elliott and brother Hilburn (late Mary).

Friends called at the Williams Funeral Home, Ridgeway, Tuesday, January 8. Funeral services in the chapel Wednesday, January 9. Interment Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery.
