Justice system failed the RCMP in Mayerthorpe

To the Editor:
After watching Mayerthorpe last night on T.V. I was upset and these are my thoughts. Forty-four charges and only 14 convictions? Total jail time, two years and eight months.
The police did their job but the judges failed to do theirs. The judges are to blame for those four RCMP deaths.
Canadian justice for whom?
The law is an ass.
