Police urge stores not to sell spray paint to kids

BURK’S FALLS – Vandals have been busy in Burk's Falls.

Almaguin Highlands OPP have responded to a number of reports of mischief in the Village of Burk’s Falls during January and February.

This includes damage to town signs, ball diamond washrooms, the Syples Street bridge, the building housing the fire department’s water tank, concrete garbage containers and fire hydrants. In most cases, the vandals used red and black spray paint.

Police are asking local merchants not to sell paint to youths unless they are accompanied by an adult.
