Cecil Hightower passed away on Dec. 7, 2007 at the age of 57.

The son of Isaac Cecil Hightower and Beatrice Alberta Shadd, Cecil was born in Toronto, Ontario.

On June 12, 1999 Cecil married Laurette Levert in Brampton, Ontario.

He is survived by his wife Laurette, who resides in Burk’s Falls. Also survived by his son David Hightower (Jennifer) and his daughter Michelle MacDonald (Glen) and stepsons Andrew Gillard and Johnathan Gillard (Amanda Caesar).

The owner/operator of a courier service until 2005, Cecil was a driver/delivery person for most of his life. Due to his failing health he moved to disability after 2005.

A celebration of his life was held Dec. 15, 2007 in North York, Ontario. Friends and family gathered to remember him and shared their thoughts. Balloons were released in Cecil’s memory.
