Peacefully passed away on November 27, 2007 at his home in South River with his family and friends, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Gertrude (Gertie) Jeffery, dear father of Larry (Marie) Jeffery of South River, Richard of South River, Patty (Darryl) Tate of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Cathy (Ed) Shore of Comox, B.C. and Tom (Kathleen) of Lively; very special Uncle Bud of Thelma Smeltzer and Elaine (Jim) Hathaway of Guelph. Loving Poppa to Drew, Trent, Jami, Luke, Grant, Alyssa, Adam, Garrett and Nathan. Loving Poppa Bud to Alexis and Kayla. He is survived by his sisters Bertha Barager, Elva Vigrass (the late John), Laura Fudger (the late George), Murtle Thompson, Helen Clelland (Stan) and Evelyn Vankoughnett (the late Earl) and sister-in-law Audrey Jeffery and is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Clara (McCartney) and Tom Jeffery, his brothers Gib (Marion), Tom (June), Grant, infant sister Dorothy and Pearl Whalley (Chuck).

Bud was a member of Grace Anglican Church and a past president and life time member of the South River Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 390. The family received friends at Grace Anglican Church on Friday, November 30.
