Peacefully at Southwind Retirement Home, South River on Thursday, December 13, 2007 in his 90th year, Arthur Knight, beloved husband of the late Violet McLaren and the late Joyce Kemp. Loving stepfather of Mel McLaren (Lynda) of Sundridge and Beverley Gilham (Paul) of Listowel. Cherished step-grandfather to ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Margaret (Brewster) Knight, sisters Vida, Effie, Anne, brothers John, Norman, Frank, step-daughter Vera Francis and step-son Wilfred McLaren. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and his many friends in the area.

The late Mr. Arthur Knight rested at the Opatovsky Funeral Home, Moore Chapel, Sundridge on Sunday, December 16, 2007. Funeral service was conducted at the Almaguin Evangelical Missionary Church, Hwy 11, South River on Monday, December 17, 2007 with the Reverend Robert Graham officiating. Interment at Claremont Union Cemetery, Claremont.
