Peacefully at her residence in Emsdale on Monday, December 17, 2007. Gale Niemi was in her 58th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Garry Niemi. Loving mother of Marnie, Shannon and Mark (Lana). Grandmother of Madeline, Jacob and Liam. Predeceased by father Erwin Marshall and daughter-in-law Denise Niemi. Survived by her mother, Madeline Marshall, brothers Buck and Rob Marshall, sister Lori Meeks, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A service of remembrance will be held at the Opatosky Funeral Home, Dempster Chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2007, Reverend Patrick McManus officiating. Family will receive visitors in the chapel from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Spring interment of ashes in Sprucedale Cemetery. If desired, donations to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
