After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Richard passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Center. Beloved husband of Linda. Loving father of the late Kathleen, Rick (Christie) and Robert (Connie). Proud Poppy of John, Kim, Carleigh, Paige and Connor. He will be sadly missed by brother Ron (Kim) and sister-in-law Marie (Graham) Harvey. Dear son of Margaret and the late Bob Trahan. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by relatives and friends.

Family received friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., North Bay (705) 474-7655 on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 and Wednesday January 2, 2008 from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Richard will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
