The midgets had a very successful run at the North Bay tournament this past weekend while other teams competed on the road and house league continues at the local rinks.
Novice: The Novice Ice Devils travelled to Bracebridge this weekend, facing a well disciplined and talented team. The Devils held the Bears to a one goal lead in the first period and although they lost the game, each player put forth a solid effort and the team displayed their improved skills across the board.
Goaltending efforts were evident with Jerico Arsenault between the pipes. Connor Eastaugh, Cole Earle, Faith Forsayeth and Owen Johnstone all had excellent games, working hard both offensively and on their back checking efforts.
Mitchell Grant and Andy Coleman were on defence, working hard to clear the zone. Surely Coach Johnstone will work the team hard this week at practice as the team has the weekend off to rest up for Port Carling the following weekend.
