The Atom Ice Devils fought hard to overcome a three-point lead by Huntsville at the SSJ arena on Nov. 11. In spite of a strong comeback in the third period, Almaguin fell just a goal short of tying the game.
The Novices, Atoms, Peewees and Midgets all made the trek to Haliburton to face the wrath of the Highland Storm on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Novice: An early morning rise followed by a two-hour trip to Haliburton did not deter the Novice Ice Devils from showing the fans, their coaches and the opposition how much they have improved since their first match in October. This Novice team changed the score from October’s 12-0 loss to a 4-0 loss. Not bad for the difference of a month.

Although each player had a great game and the team demonstrated overall growth and development, special mention goes to the Smith brothers, Tyler and Cody. With Cody’s tenacity and skating ability and Tyler’s focus on defence and consistently clearing the zone, they helped carry the puck offensively.

Each team member contributed to this exciting game, leaving the fans eagerly awaiting next weekend’s home game against Huntsville in Sundridge at 1 p.m.
