The Almaguin minor hockey season is now well underway and all teams have taken to the ice playing at home and away.
Novice: The novice Ice Devils have been working hard since the middle of October, facing Parry Sound, the Highland Storm, Bracebridge, Port Carling and Huntsville. The Devils play has improved significantly and each weekend the fans see better passing, stronger defensive awareness and the development of positional play.
Rachel Kreps, Kandice Buston, Faith Forsayeth, Bryce King, Sam Pauley, Connor Eastaugh, Andy Coleman, Jorden Carlson are skating hard on the forward line, while Tyler Smith, Branden May, Mitchell Grant and Owen Johnston are holding the line on defence.
Goaltending efforts have been split between Owen Johnston and Jerri Arsenault. Although both goalies have seen significant action between the pipes, they have shown their abilities and determination.
This weekend the Novice team met Bracebridge in Soutut met Bracebridge in Sout
