Constable's help was greatly appreciated
Oct 10, 2007
To the Editor:
While driving home on Hwy. 124, I had unfortunately hit a moose.
Constable S. Bellemare was right behind us. His calm manner and his concern were very reassuring, especially since my husband was not long out of the hospital.
With the paperwork done, a tow truck called, and several inquiries as to how we were, the Constable asked if the gun shot would upset our little dog, as unfortunately, the moose was badly injured.
As my husband was not able to climb up into the cab of the tow truck — and it would have been very crowded — (the Constable) drove us home.
We wish to extend our appreciation once more to Constable Bellemare and the Burk’s Falls detachment.
